Baptism is the first of the Sacraments of Christian Initiation that opens the path to other sacraments. With the holy water, we are freed from original sin and enter life with Christ as a child of God, leaving an indelible mark on the baptized.

Anointing of the Sick is intended for those who have a serious illness or are in danger of death. It serves to strengthen and restore the soul. It can be given more than once as needed if illness becomes more serious, and it can be administered at home, hospital or church. Whenever possible, it is celebrated within the Eucharist, and if possible preceded by the sacrament of Penance.

Please contact Parish Office at 210-661-5277.

As part of the sacraments of service, “Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry.
